coldslop publishes cold emails, so we are careful with the people at both ends.
When you report an email
- The original email, encrypted. Only staff can read it, to moderate the report.
- Your forwarding address, encrypted, so we can send you a confirmation link and a receipt.
- A keyed hash of your address, to apply the per-person limits without reading the address itself.
We publish only the redacted copy, after we remove everything about you. See rules for reports.
When you check an email
We compare the text you paste and then discard it. We do not save, log or publish it.
How long we keep it
- We delete the originals of emails we do not publish after 30 days.
- We delete the raw text of published emails after 180 days. The redacted copy stays.
- Withdrawing a report from your receipt deletes the original at once.
Cookies
Public pages set no cookies. The report form, receipts and corrections use one essential session cookie, and the upload form one more to apply the upload limits. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts.
Deletion and access
Write to us through corrections to see what we hold about your email address or to have it deleted. This applies to reporters and to the people who sent the emails.
